A bunch of them at SEFF, looked like they flew well. I did see one hit the ground and literally explode in a cloud of balsa.....

I LOVE mine! Had it for a couple months and it really makes me look better than I am. And yes they will demolish with a severe hit, I had a midair with mine and it demolished the motorcage, the rest of the plane was fine. My cat knocked it off the building board and it didn't even phase it. The fiberfusion really makes a difference. It's a true 3d monster!

I've almost finished mine, and plan to fly it this weekend. At the moment all I can say is that it builds very quickly (8 to 10 hrs.) and is beautifully engineered. Tell you about it on monday.

I flew mine yesterday for the first time and it is GREAT!!! Everything it's supposed to be: gentle and forgiving on low rates and really wild on high rates. Actually, I found the high rates a bit too much; at least on my first flights and mu skill level which isn't much. I have the torque motor reccomended by Atlanta Hobbies, a 10x3.8 slow flyer APC prop, Castle Creations Phoenix 25 ESC and Thunder Power 2100 mah LIPO's. Hovers at 40-50% throttle. I was a bit limited because it was windy, but I know I'm going to enjoy this one for a a long time. Really can't go wrong as a begginners 3D airplane (that's me). Just handle the build with care as it is fragile, so take your time. I rushed through a couple of steps and managed to do some damage which I later had to repair

By the way, the motor is the Torque2830/1095. With the setup previously mentioned, full throttle power, as measured by my Astro Watt meter was 265 watts.

Check the RC Sport Flyer magazine for a review of the Addiction. I reviewed it last month and loved it. This is one airplane where the stock setup is PERFECT. I cannot say that about most airplanes, but this one is actually perfect with the stock setup as detailed in the article. I would just lay out what that setup entails, but I am on military duty and a long way from my home so I can't check...sorry.
Get one and fly the stuffing out of it. They are pretty strong too, so don't worry about minor mishaps. I lost battery power in a hover and it landed on the wheels from about 5 feet up and no damage at all. I was amazed. By the way, it is on the cover of the mag.

Nope. Mine ballances perfectly with the 2100mah TP batteries. I can still play with the CG by moving it back and forth. What battery are you using?
