My cap is good to go. Installed AR7000 & two 6v 2000mah nimh's. Everything is programmed batteries charged and all ready for maiden.
Will go fly Wednesday after work.... Excited, little bit nervous but really looking forward to it.

Glad you got it in the air, sorry to hear about your engine proplems. My advice? Sell the Zenoah and buy a DL50 - then you'll accelerate on the uplines

I think you would be happier with the DL 50

I've read some RPM numbers on the XYZ50 and don't think it performs day & night better than the Zen45. I'd hate to go through the hassle of changine engine and still have so so performance.

I think I hang on to the Zen45 and then go DL50 later on to be on the safe side power wise. Smart?

All I can say my Cap with the DL 50 is a rocketship and the engine is troublefree to start

Am also considering bending some 3/16 alum gear to replace the stock fiberglass gear...
Get the gear from the GP Extra (GPMA3066 - currently out of stock). It's about 1.5 - 2mm thicker so it is a bit stronger. I put it on my Edge too and another buddy here at work put it on his Cap and he says it helps on the prop clearance.

Check out Al Lewis' video with his GP Cap 232 / XYZ 50 combo... Looks good to me.
