The flyer goes something like this......

We are planning our first ever Invitational Fly-in and Swap meet on Saturday June 21. This is your special invitaion to come and join us.
We have a great place to fly---a 300' newly paved runway, 600+ feet of closely trimmed grass to fly from plus unlimited, unrestricted blue sky---and a bunch of guys who would like to share this with your club members.

The event will be on Saturday, however, should you wishto stay over, we will fly again on Sunday.

We have limited overnight camping space with a potty. However no available water at the field. Motels are relitively close should you choose to go that route---here are a few

Holiday Inn - Lewiston 208-750-1600
Red Lion Hotel - Lewiston 208-799-1000
Comfort Inn - Lewiston 800-228-5150
Quality Inn - Clarkston 509-758-9500

As this is our "first" invitational event, we would like to here from you so we can plan for your visit. If some club me,bers will be attending, please let us know so we can make appropriate plans for lunch.

Exciting flight demonstrations!!!
We're delighted to tell you that the CoeurD' Alene Aero Modeling Society are bringing 33% to 40% IMAC aerobatic aircraft AND the Snake River Valley Modelers from Ontario Or are bringing thier four member combat team along with four different jet aircraft

Thats from the letter itself..... I told him I would try to get the 40% to come but there might be a contest sooo......

Ya, I sent everything in last week. I have not got an answer yet. I was thinking pretty hard about the yak. I am going over to Kieth's today to look at his 330. I don't know what to do??????? His plane has a lot of miles on it but I know he takes good care of it.

I often thought if Keith would sell his old plane that I would be interested in it. It does have a lot of miles but it's a great plane and well taken care of. He doesnt thrash the crap out of anything it would be different if he were a 3D flyer. I think it would be a great plane if a person were looking for something to last a couple years but if they were looking for 5-6 years out of it then maybe not.
The YAK is there if you want to use it till you get something else built just come over and get it.

Kevin
I can go on Sat, Keith said would talk to you about hauling planes in your trailer, if that works im in. we could also take my yak and have another plane to fly. your gonna haul planes, drive 2-1/2 - 3 hrs and not fly thats B S . You will fly, i just used an old Jedi mind trick. you will leave the dark side of the force.

Ok, I have a Carden 40% Extra 330 sitting in my shop. I think I am back in the game. Now all I have to do is PAY FOR IT!!!!

Brad, Thanks for the offer. I wish I could afford to get it too for the DA 100 as a back up. Just going to have to take it slow for a while. I might be selling the 100. Sounds like we are going to make a showing in Lewiston.

Jerry said he will be there Saturday. Yes it's Keiths old plane. I think we are leaving my house around 5:30 Saturday morning. Who's in for an early wake up?

Congrat's Kevin. Glad to hear you are back in the hunt. That's a nice plane, Keith takes care of his stuff. Should fly awesome for you. My 330 came in Monday. It's being shipped in 3 boxes so I am still awaiting two more. Looks good though but I expect it'll be a few weeks before I get it all together. We are pretty lucky actually, considering those in flood areas who are losing their homes and all their possessions.

Hope the plane works out well for you. Now, go get a first place with it.

MR
