Default Joe Nall 08 Completed!!!

Well I just got home just now and boy am I tired! This was my first Joe Nall for a long time. Last time I been was probably 6 years ago. I really enjoy being down at the second flight line. There was a lot of room to fly compare to the flight line up top. It was like two totally different worlds though! One area we are tail dipping wheel skiing and tree hitting and the other straight n level circle flying with mild aerbatics trying to miss that one tree!
I believe the person who had the most fun this weekend was Bill with is huge cub. Everytime I look up I saw that big Cub flying. He was having a lot of fun with it. Makes me want one!

This was Mojo Aviaton's first year flying at one. We've spectated a lot, but this was our first year. You can expect to see us next year! We had a BLAST! The 2nd flightline made me feel like I was at a Huckfest rather than Joe Nall.

Kevin, You were one of the FFAA guys that made this event better. Same with YakAtak and Smokin. It was like a bunch of family members getting together for a reunion.

Smokin (Matt), PM me with your E-mail address and phone number and I will add you to our FFAA e-mail list. It was a blast hangin with you all! See you at Triple Creek 3D Fly-In! (TC3D)

YakAtak (Justin) You and your dad are in! Welcome to FFAA!

Nall was a blast! My dad is also looking forward to heading back as well.

Kevin, great flying like allways I really like the way you re-covered your 260. It looks like you got a brand-new one. Can't wait until your in Florida.

Rennie, you better get your next 110" going! Your putting an 85 w/ greeves in it right? I MIGHT do the same.

It was funny because I was sleeping for about 30 minutes on the way home, and I looked out the front window and Donnies trailer was right in front of us! We got gas and grabed a bite to eat and had a great time talking. Donnie is da man!

That second flight line was great idea. I saw alot of flying going on down there. I was running between the two and liked the atmosphere down there.
Bill was flying the crap out of the 50% Cub...the longest time it was "Down" was when I was replacing a plug and plug cap on it...within a minute of doing so, he was back up and flying!
The second line will be the place to be next year!

i gotta echo the flyin hawaiian's message. it was a HUGE family reunion. the joe nall is the very best example of what this hobby can do for your life. the support, friendship, and fellowship is second to none. we were the last one's to pull out of the "nall huckfest" 2.4 flight line on sunday around lunch time. i tell ya what, it was an almost religious experience. from rennie's invocation to our moment of silence as we glanced around at the beauty of triple tree one last time, it was as close to my interpretation of heaven as anything could be! thanks to everyone who made my week terrific, especially rennie and the dalton guys. i was fortunate enough to pick up my new "in the bones" dalton mel 300 from rob at competition airframes and it was just like christmas for me. little did i realize that i was now a part of a new "dalton" family. everyone from team dalton was so eager to offer help and advice and i am so glad to have met you all. i look forward to taking all of your information and having a blast with my new bird. special thanks to mattymatt and xrated! you guys were a blast and i truly appreciate your info and friendships. in closing, if you haven't been there you wouldn't understand. the nall man, you gotta go! see y'all next year!
