Big Apple Jet Rally June 20th - 22nd
The 16th annual Big Apple Jet Rally will be held at Floyd Bennet Field, Brooklyn, NY from Friday 20th throungh to Sunday 22nd.
The club is getting excited about the event this year. Last years organisers (Mike and Vinny) are now president and vice president of the club and have been hard at work organising and carrying out extensive refurbishments to the site. Sal Faraj has taken on the major task of organising this event along with a committee of volunteers. The field will be open to pilots from noon on Friday for informal off the peg flying for testing, set up and orientation. There is a schedule attached, which will again be followed by off the peg flying in the evenings and BBQ (weather and numbers permitting!). Your entry fee includes free lunch at the site. We welcome vendors who'd like to support the rally in any way possible. Camping facilities are available on site and the poster also lists local hotels.
