Smokin',
Even if you washed it out with soap and water before you shipped it, (I'm sure the owner would really appreciate that!) you're still gonna have some fumes and the postal boys are gonna take a long hard look at your package. Unless they come and get it, I wouldn't bother.

Very true !
The last time I sent an engine in for service UPS. made me open the box to make sure there were no gas or fumes.

I saw that can, it was right behind my trailer, along the flight line. It was pretty nice, new around $200, maybe more. You can rinse it out with a little ISOPropel al. and put in a little sented smoke oil. If it was mine, I would send you a prepaid ups box with the sented oil. You could also just send the battery/pump/switch assembly, thats where the money is, the can is usualy standard.

If the camera had been turned into us, we would make every effort to return to the owner... Flyin' Hawaiian got an engine returned to him we found 2 years after it crashed...lol.

Did anybody happen to find some wing bags down on the 2nd flightline. They were just the foil type bags that come from ExtremeFlight, but they worked. I think that they blew out of the trailer when the wind was blowing hard on Friday.
Thanks, Shotgun
