Has ANYONE ever heard of a bipe named ILLUSION ? Kit was made by Eagle one Aviation. This particular plane was supposed to be built by Frank Knoll. I was just wondering if any of you knew of the MFG or heard of the plane. WS 70inLength 71in W/O spinnerWeight 10LBS Bare airframe onlyBruce

Yup, remember the design well! Frank also had the One design. Great flying biplane. Haven't seen one in a while. Where'd you get it? Nice!

Looks like somebody took the best from the Ultimate and the Pitts Super Stinker. Was this a real airplane, or a modeling adaptation?
I too would be interested in documentation, etc. That would make a great kit-bash out of a CG Ultimate. |

Hey Bruce...that is a sweet flying Bipe! Frank Noll did a great job designing it. I'm jelous...you can't get them and probably won't see any more like it around! Frank used to torque roll the snot out of that plane! What engine are you putting in it?

I am thinking about a 75 or 80cc. The throws are set up for IMAC, I would have to redo the hinges to get any 3D control.

LJ,,PM'ed Frank Noll. He'll pop on when he get's a second and give you the 411. Oh yeah, he told me it's a piece of junk. DO NOT FLY IT!! Send it to me for testing. There will be no charge for my efforts.

Tell you what Biffy,
You sponsor me. All I need is a motor and I will bring it to NALL. That way we can all fly it.
