2008 Youth Masters Triple Tree

Well Joe Nall 08 is over with and the next thing happening at Triple Tree is the Youth Masters.

The Youth Masters is a great start for anyone young to begin competition flying. Dont be afraid of the word "competition" because here at Triple Tree it is a calm relaxing place where you will gain new friendships and learn great info from the greatest rc pilots on earth.

I personally have competed in this event for 2 years. The first year I was 15 and everyone probably remembers I was "a man of few words" as Mr. Sadler put it. My second year I open up and enjoyed the event and made new friendships with people who I still talk to today.

We are hoping this year to see new and old faces at the event this year. I am hoping that many kids can make it out this year. John Soda, RJ Gritter, and I will be trying to make it down so we can help out for the 2008 YM. Lets try to make this the biggest YM ever!!!!

Where is the Youth Masters?
Triple Tree Aerodrome in Woodruff South Carolina. (AKA RC Heaven!!!)

When is the Youth Masters?
June 28-29.

Who can compete?
Anyone 16 years old or younger

Do I need to bring a plane to compete with.
No we provide the plane. But if possible bring your planes for after hours fun. (Cans and three blade for gassers)

How many classes are there?
Two. Basic and Advanced.

Where can I find the Sequences for each class.
Basic

I would suggest looking them over and see which class you would feel comfortable in.

This is where I first flew a gas plane. I flew at the '04 YM. It was fun, but IMAC just isn't my thing. I placed somewhere midway. I don't remember exactly, but I didn't do too bad.....

I'm planning to be there. Come on out guys, it's a lot of fun! Don't be intimidated by "competition". There will be a great group of guys there to have fun, and it's a great way to get your feet wet if you're interested in IMAC, or just to hang out!

Jonathan and I will be there, and can't wait, and Yes there will be a Sadler in the House at Triple Tree. We had such a Great time last year (our first time) that there is no way that we would miss it ,we had so much fun last year that we (Florida Freestyle Aerobatics Association) has decided to hold a Youth Masters here in Florida,the event will be held on October 18. We have to continue to endorse our youth and keep them motivated in this great hobby so that it does not disappear .

Ill be there also to help out! My first ever contest was YM '04, and ever since that first event I have been HOOKED! This is a really great contest to come and see what Precision Aerobatics is all about. The facility is one of a kind along with the people. So come join the fun!

now we are 9 days away from the YM and there is no one talking about this, this is how we found out about the YM about this time last year and there was a ton of people talking about it.

good luck to all young pilots out there... what an AMAZING venue for this event. if you are teetering on going or not...go just to see tripletree aerodrome! that is the GREATEST r/c place on earth! i absolutely love to see children getting envolved in this hobby. it does so much for all facets of life! i am definitely a better person because of the relationships this hobby has afforded me!
