Huck,
Let's think about this for a second....... At the end of the video the reporter stated that this 45 second flight by this flying fish eclipsed a 42 second flight that was researched by an American back in the 1920's. I gotta tell ya that if there is even ONE researcher that checks the flight times of flying fish, that boy has GOT to get himself a HOBBY!
Can you just hear the conversation at the next Joe Nall: Yeah buddy! I was out at the pier today clockin' flying fish flight times! Them suckers had me going! I had all the camera equipment set up and I missed out on a new record just because of a malfunction in my Nikon! That ever happen to you? (Notice that people are inching away and tryin' to look small and disinterested.....) Yeah well, I gotta go fill the tank on my Evinrude now.... See ya! LOL!

Don't blame me. Just a copy/paste from the youtube title.

How in the world could they know it is a record? Did a secret government agency implant transmitters into these little fellas without telling us? For all we know these things could be circumnavigating the world, at low altitude, on a regular basis.

The title should read "Record Length Recording of a Flying Fish."
