Default FFAA - Joe Nall Pics 08- Big Thanks Mr. Keller!

Hey All!

With Joe Nall fever starting to wear off, I know this is kinda late for more Joe Nall Pics....................naaaawww, never too late for more Joe Nall pics. I just wanted to share a few more because of the awesome folks in the Confederate Air Farce, namely teh 3D Flight Line Director, Mr. Howard Keller. Not only did he keep order down at the flight line, not that we needed it , but he made sure that the pilots were taken care of.

Some how while getting ready for my departure from "RC Heaven", I misplaced my camera and did not realize it until I got home in Orlando, FL. Of course I rantically tore apart my airplane trailer and SUV looking for it. Well on Monday I got a phone call from Mr. Keller, asking me if I had misplaced anything (thank God I put my Name & ph# on all my electronic gadgets!). Three days later UPS bings my nice Digital Camera home with all of my Joe Nall pics in tact!!!

Thank-You Mr. Howard Keller, You totally Rock and I will buy you that beer next year!

So here are the pics from Joe Nall 2008, Florida Freestyle Aerobatics Association base camp!

Here are a few pics of my sponsors production prototype in the original Extreme Flight RC color scheme, w/ DA 85cc w/ Greives tuned pipe. Looks great and Flew great w/ the DA 85. Very Light at 26.75 lbs and same thrust as DA 100. Awesome!

Pateetong, Man!

Everybody at the 3D Flight Line got plenty of Flight time. Check out Donnie video taping during the "Aquatic Portion" of my freestyle routine , Donnie was ready to jump out of the way as the Yak got out of shape!

Competition Airframes, Rob Joyner aka sukhoi26, with Team Dalton Aviation John Nelon aka X-rated and Stephen Day aka Cat. Ducman, they hucked it hard all week w/ their beautiful airplanes. John Nelon's Dalton Extra 260 is absolutely flawless w/ DA 150 on Grieves. Man what a rocket! Robs Giles 202 is the one fine flying aerobat. I used to hate Giles 202 until I flew his. The thing tumbled sick yo! my camping neighbors Matt Mikesh and his crew kept things lively. Those guys really know how to have fun!

What do you do when high winds kick off the canopy hatch off your 42% Dalton Extra 260 and trashes it?! You bring in Rob Joyner from Competition Airframes and have hime build you a new hatch on the spot!!! Actually he was on his way too the Nall to deliver an airframe to a customer (Matt "Smokin"). I was lucky enough to catch Rob before he left his shop in Palm Harbor, FL so that he could bring me a hatch kit, and he just happened to bring his building table and tools too! Rob, yo rule dude! The guy knows how to build!

Great pics Rennie. That was one heck of a good time. Howard is a super guy. Next year, maybe they will get him a megaphone so he doesn't have to scream at the top of his lungs at people on the end of the runway. Ya know, a couple of signs could help too.
