Why I don't mess with my wife!
The reason I don't mess with my wife, is she is too clever for me in a diabolical sort of way. I don't stand a chance!
So, a couple we know had an argument last week. It seem he went to a charity auction and won a whole collection of signed sports memorabilia. You know, pictures, balls, jerseys, that kind of thing. He brought them home, and his wife freaked out, over both the cost, and the idea of putting this stuff up in the house. I have to hand it to him, he stood his ground, and insisted on his right to have a "man room" in the house. The next day, she told my wife about what had happened. My wife thought for a minute and said, I have an idea, if he wants a man room, I say we give it to him. Which is the worst bathroom in the house? They proceeded to take all the stuff, and put it on the walls in the bathroom. They even got, a mini-fridge, filled it with beer, and put it in there right across from the toilette. All his magazines, and other man stuff was placed neatly in that bathroom. When he came home from work, they showed him his man room. I guess I don't have to tell you his reaction. I haven't seen him yet, but from what I hear around town, he is getting teased pretty bad from all our friends. He knows it's my wife's idea. That's why I don't mess with her!

That is easy. Go over to his place and take everything that is key in interest to his wife and put it in her closet. That will now be that Woman Room. Declare balance and have a contract on the kitchen table that requires ANY change to ANY room other than the two "gender rooms" to be mutually agreed upon. That will stop that crap in a hurry, one way or the other.

It's easy to have a man room, just get rid of the wife. LOL remember it's cheaper to rent!

Boy you guys have it rough. My wife gets the upstairs of our bi level and I get the basement. The garage is both of ours and we use it to park in. I have my shop which is a 50x60 seperate building from the house and she gets the barn. And we are as happy as pigs in slop. She says nothing about my planes and I say nothing about her precious moments.

Where's this pictures of this "Man's Room"?
I get to put some antlers over the fireplace, a few stuffed ducks, and spurs on a shelf. The rest is relegated to my 12x16 shop. In which houses my reloading, camping, flyfishing, powertools and airplanes all reside. The guns get to stay in the garage in two safe's next to her car. |
