Default Re: Spektrum 9100 RX which packs?

I do it so that I don't have to wonder about the state of charge of the batteries. Sometimes I do it every other flight, but the idea is the same - to have a field-charging tote box that is handy enough to do so without being a burden, while having a multiport charger capable of charging through common-ground power systems. Fromeco Ioncube fits that bill, and I have a 32ah deep-cycle battery all set up in my own little tote box so it is just plug and play.

Ya I have the cube as well, those kodiak switches tell you how many mill. amps (or how much current)your servos are draining from the batteries. Each flight I am using just about 300 mill. amps of power from each 123 battery. So if I flew 6 flights I would have used 1800 mill. amps with 500 remaining out of each 2300mah pack.I think most people don't know how much power are in these packs, and they most likely charge far more then is nessary.I do agree that they are one more fail point and the next plane I do will most likely just use the soft switch or smart fly pins.

We are running the Kodiak Switches with two 3600 packs on reciever and one 2400 on ignition. Works great and you can tell exactly how much you have taken out of the packs so you know what you have used and how much you have left, no guess work left.
