Right, they'll be shipping during July. Here are some pics of the Red scheme, along with a couple of shots of the carbon gear, pre-fabricated 75K can mount, and DL50 install (w/ flipped carb).

We're within a few weeks of ship-out, if all goes as planned. We're finishing up the manual and clearing space in the warehouse.

I personally can not wait to see what ben and Scott come up with in the 100cc sized extra! This 50cc bird looks awesome , and if it's built like it's little brother ( 47" extra ) this 50cc bird will be amazing. I'm into the little bigger 100cc airplanes , and possibly next year or the year after , i want to move up to the 38%-40% .
Ben...have you done any testing on the 100cc extra you guys have in the works...or is it still just in the planning stages? I know you don't want to give anything away , or get anybodies hopes up....but man....if i could get one of your "extra" 260 or 300 in a 100cc type.....with that red/white scheme....OMG , i'd be in heaven. Hope to hear some news on this soon , about hopefully a next spring 09 release or something |

It's in design right now. 85-100CC SHP around 103". Looking to a Spring-Summer '09 release.

And T-Bag......shouldn't you be getting ready to strap on your knee pads or something , and calling some of your guy friends over? I happen to dig that scheme on the red / white extra. It's different from the every day , almost every arf out there....you know the "scale" scheme. That crap gets boring to me.....it's about time someone starts coming out with something a little more original that what everyone else has. I own one of the WH 100cc Sukhoi's , and to be honest , i bought that airplane because of the performance value and LOOKS....to me it LOOKS awesome! I also like the Dietrich style schemes as well.....they are flashy to me. I get sooooo sick and tired of having a "scale scheme". I know , i know....the red bull scheme is scale , but it is one scheme that looks good on just about anything. hell , you want wild........look at Mangolds , purplish looking airbrushed aircraft........that's friggin' wild! |

I had my 300 SHP in the air today for the first time this year. I loved this plane the first time I flew it and it just keeps getting better. Today the temp was about 60 and the wind was 90deg to the runway at about 20 mph. the take-off and landing were cross runway. Take off roll was about a plane length and the landing roll was about 1/2 plane length with a 3 point landing. Hell, I still have the smile on my face. The worst part of the whole day was trying to get the wings back in the wing bags and into the van with damage. I dropped one wing bag and the wind blew it under the van and across the road.
