Actually, the 87" Extra 300 SHP is in stock now in the White/Blue/Red color scheme, and at the moment we have them on a shipping special - they ship UPS ground for $99 shipping charge.

The bottom is red with white stripes if I recall correctly. You should be able to see it well.

Maiden my 300 a few day ago
I don't have enough time to say how well this airframe performs! Like many other people I have owned many 50cc airframes but, nothing like this one. Ya gotta fly it to believe it! I am using a MT-57 / 23/8 wood prop with stock muffler. Hover is just at 1/2 throttle with a strong pull out. This airframe is very light on the wings which makes for a fun time. In IMAC style of flying the plane tracks as good as my 35% EXTRA 260. This is one sweet ride.......... I will be looking to buy the new 100cc version as soon as it is available. I wish I could pass the transmitter to anyone who is on the fence to buy one. You would be swayed in a hurry! The airplanes I can compare it to (which I have flown) are 88 EF yak and HH Carden yak. All three are wonderful airframes but the EXRTA 300shp is a little more forgiving in any type of rollers. AUW is 16.5 lbs. floats like a feather.![]() 3-D Hobby Shop keep up the good work and my wallet will thank you! AL. Last edited by AJT; 03-21-2009 at 08:44 PM. |

That's great to hear Al.
You should try tumbling also with your SHP. the SHP does CRAZY tumbles. I start with inverted at near full speed, then slam the sticks to the corner; bottom left with my left stick, and top right with my right stick. Leaves me giggling every time .

Congrats Al....if you think you like it now, just wait till you get some time on it
![]() An AMAZING performer. Mine's a bit of a porker at 18lbs (fueled) with canister, smoke system and pilot/cockpit, but it still floats around like a bigassed foamy. Hovers at 1/2 throttle, with strong punch out with the DL50. Earle |

you guys are makin' me drool!!! I got one of the 300 SHP's from Ben last summer and am just now getting it together. I put a BME 58 with a cannister in it. Ran it for the first time Thurs and I think that it will have enough power! I won't get to test fly it until next weekend and I am looking forward to it. I put it on the scales yesterday and it came out at 15.5 lbs. Some what lighter than I thought it would be. After I get the test flight in, I will have Bob (Sensi) wring it out and help get it dialed in.

Bone doc I will try that in the morning on my first flight.
Pistolera I don't doubt at 18lbs its still a floater!! Just an amazing design. Knife edge is sooooooooo easy either side. I have no coupling or at least it's so little that mixing would be a waist of time. I did install DUBRO wheels as the original were not that good. But hey! ya gotta have at least one con among all these pros lol. I can't wait for the 103 to be available I'm starting to acquire the necessary hardware for the assembly ( servos, receiver, batteries, engine, ect.) I was going to do a 40%er but changed my mind because of the economy and after flying the 300shp I'm glad I did. This is my kind of airplane As with everyone else I was always looking for that better aircraft. Well not any more I finally found it. and a Great company to support them. Like I said before I'll vote with my wallet!!wb5ziy hurry up your missing a lot of FUN. at 15.5lbs your gonna SMILE. |

Yep....mine came in at 17.5 dry.....that's with header, MTW75K canister, a smoke system and cockpit/pilot and A123 batts. Full fuel & smoke tank I'm just shy of 18 lbs. Even at that it floats like a buttafly
![]() Just finished my first IMAC contest. Came in 4th in Sportsman...some lousy flights (not the SHP's fault) plus some very nice ones. Plane displayed well in the air. Lot's of questions from seasoned IMAC folks! Earle |
