I predict you will be a popular member of FG. You might even get a leading edge article...

Been flying my new shp, got to say its been the best plane i've
flown in 20 years of flying. Everytime I take her up I 'm more amazed at how perfect it flys. I own some 3d hobby shop planes all ready like a 42" slick, 47" egde,47" shp, 55" egde, 47" velox, I have to say this is the best so far. I friend flew mine yesterday for his first time. After 10 min of flying he called Ben & ordered one, this will be his first gasser. Thanks Ben & the whole gang for the hard work you all do on your planes. You really do make the best planes. In my opinion, oh & it only took 18 hours to build this 87"shp. Sweet. Last edited by Pixturethis; 07-20-2009 at 06:38 PM. |

Has anyone else had to add a little right thrust to their motor? I put in a 1/16" washer to get it to fly a straight up-line.
This plane is flat out awesome. Its like a big foamy for 3-D and flies IMAC with the best of them. The only thing I don't like about it is, I don't have enough time to fly it more. Scott, YOU ARE THE MAN. |

I'm wanting to use this plane for 3D and backup/practice IMAC plane. Did you set up surfaces rates "As much as you can get" for 3D rates? That was a Great KE spin, I want to be sure I can do that stuff but still have good precision. |

Sorry for the loss. You'll love the SHP. i haven't flown the 89" Slick but the 87" SHP is the closest thing to a slab at this size I've found as far as feel in the air goes. Great plane!! |
