A couple of my Flying Giants buddies headed down there today for lunch and to watch the practicing rounds, just amazing!

I wish we could of brought SleepyC with us, would of made the trip all that much better. But, we'll be back for Saturdays qualifing rounds and get photo's if all goes well.

We did not get to hear them today, SleepyC. The qualifying rounds were canceled due to unpredictable winds gusting over 30 knots. Tomorrow looks like it will be good......

Well, SleepyC,

They sound ..... um....... BADASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The race format was a little changed due to weather here, more like sudden death. Everyone got one pass to pick the top four for a run off.

Chambliss pulled it off by less than .5 second. These guys were running this course in just over a minute. They were saying that anything at 1min 20sec would be in the running and it ends up the podium takers all had runs over 5 seconds faster than that. Fastest time of the day was about 1min 10sec, but the run for 1st and 2nd were both in the 1.12 range. Chambliss set a 1:12.08 and Bonhomme set a 1:12.23 . Man those guys were pushing it. But SMOOOOOTH too.
