Default Can't Remember!!

Hey guys,

After a few months, I started racking my brain for ideas for my next plane venture. I remembered one in particular, but what was its name. Any of your guys remember this one. Only one company made the plane, and made it in I believe 33% and 40%. I believe it was based off a full size homebuilt or something. It was meant to be an inexpensive alternative to the full scale extras and edges. The full scale company only made two models of it a single and a two seater. It was unusual in that it had a bigger wingspan than fuselage length, I think, or the other way around which ever is opposite to the standard aerobatic plane. Please help me out here.

The only thing I can think of would be the DR-7 (single) and DR-9 "One Design". TBM had a 40% that had like a 72" wing span (the full scale is a little plane). I think Frank Noll did one when his company was still producing kits (Eagle Aviation?) Aside from them, I cant remember anyone that had a One Design, if that is the plane you are thinking of. I don't think anyone has one on the market right now either. If it is a 1D you are looking for, and the 40% that TBM had fits your ticket, give Gene Payson at TBM a call and he can put you in touch with the guy he sold the rights to.

That's the one! Thank alot. The one design the plane I'm thinking of. I wouldn't mind getting in touch with the guy. I'd like a set of plans if anything.
