I busted up my cowl on my Wild Hare Edge this weekend at Butcherfest and need a new one. Wild Hare is out of the V1 Edge cowls and Stans and (ugh...can't remembe the other place...) do not have them listed on their replacement cowl catalog listing. Anyone have a WH edge cowl from a crashed airplane they ain't going to use? I know it is a stretch, as the cowls get busted up pretty bad in a nose down crash, but if someone has one, I'd appreciate a heads up on it.
I put a post in the Swap-Shop in the "wanted" section, but I'm not sure how many folks look in that section. Thanks, Jon

Yes I if I am not mistaken the V1 300 special and the v1 edge are the same cowl. I will check into it for you Jon, I know a guy at our field that had the V1 edge, I will see if by chance he may have another cowl.

The cowls have the same footprint, as the fuselages are the same, but the inlets are different. The Edge has a spinner ring and two air inlets
![]() The Extra has a cressent opening and no spinner ring. (the pic below is an Extreme Flight, but you can see that it is an Extra cowl) ![]() The Extra cowl also has louvers moulded in, the Edge does not. Thanks for looking guys! Jon
