Default SE IMAC Competition Thread

Well the Butcherfest II was a success. Another region had a thread for their IMAC talkin', I figure we should have one in the Southeast region as well. Seems like a good place to share ideas, and express concerns dealing with IMAC in our region.

I'm not going to make it, but NATS and Triple Tree will be my next few contests with my new plane.

Hey Kent, I thought about what you said at B-fest. Hopefully here we can have an open dialog.

Vinnie, you need to take that freestyle to the XFC. You could do very, very, well.

I am here also
I am up in the air about Camden. I will see how I feel after this weekend.
I have a huckfest coming up soon also I would like to go to.
With the price of fuel I can see Imac slowing down attendence wise.

Pride, I was thinking about getting as many local IMAC freestyles under my belt before maybe auditioning for it next year. So Gernot need not worry this year. Yeah right.

I'll hangout. There are some interesting ideas in the Butcherfest thread. Making rollers optional for the cd seems like a good suggestion to me. Also, I know it would be wildly unpopular but limiting plane size would reduce the overfly footprint not to mention helping out with cost containment. I heard several comments about travel costs limiting participation so it seems to me that addressing equipment costs ought to be on the radar. As a newby, the thought that I will eventually be buying a %40 bird does bother me, but I know that as I progress up in classes my 30%er is going to be a bigger and bigger liability. Just some early morning random thoughts.

Tony, Dont tell him that. That gives me one less person to worry about, at camden.

Pride, Your plane looked like it flew good. I guess me and butcher will have to practice even harder.
