I know its a bit small but I'm trying to pus a Moki .61 LS into a Kyosho "Kelly". It's designed for a .55 2c or 70 4c. The Moki is a nice fit but I am looking for a Pitts style muffler to keep nice clean lines. This motor is not sold in Aust as far as i know. Can anyone help out with a mod. or think of anything that may be available. Cheers.

The best performing in-cowl mufflers are the Turbo-Jett from http://www.jettengineering.com
I don't know how it would look on the Kelly though. I was contemplating running one of the longer tuned mufflers underneath, next to the cooling chute. BTW, i wouldn't call it small. The Moki LS trumps many of the more common .61's and would be a great match for the Kelly. |

Bisson made one for it too. They ran great with this set-up.

I would like to thank you all for you advice.
I have settled for a bisson muffler. It is a long cylinder type not the pitts I was looking for. I would have liked the muffler tucked away to keep the front more streamline and have nice clean bodylines but its up and flying and I'm very happy with the engine preformance. |
