Here's the MPI 4" Spinner....

I did already changed the location of the ignition battery and now is just playing for the correct CG with the RX battery. I'll try to post some pics later.

Have fun guys

Hi guys, finnaly the house looks much better now and I have my tools and planes in a good spot in the basement and I can work on them again.

I finished putting the MPI spinner and moving the ignition battery a couple of weeks ago. The CG is right on the spot... Today I just got the receiver battery in and tight and I got the total weight with only a bit of fuel left in the tank.... 18.2lb RTF (8.25Kg)

I'm trying now to get help putting this guy up in the air again. From now on it's a matter of good luck on the wind gusts and a friend that knows what they are doing and I'll trust this baby to him. I'll for sure get a couple of photos and videos. I'll post them as soon as I go up.

Thanks guys for waiting so much!!!

Guys, I got it...

It had to be done yesterday or else it wouldn't happen anytime soon. Flight conditions were not so good, strong brust of cross-wind and steady cross-wind but I got it up.

No one was at the field except my father (with the camera), who was visiting us from Portugal, my son AJ and a good friend of mine Steve Hislop.

The model behaned just what I was expecting and even better when it come for landing. The enigne needs tune-up still and that's one of the resons why we only did one flight. The other reason was that a storm was getting closer quick.

Yes, I was nervous, I'm not going to hide that but I wanted to get this 3month project up in the air badly.

I want to thank all of those here on this thread that helped me re-build this airplane with advices and experiences. I have a couple of personal friends that fisically helped me and therefore I want to thank Scott Stoops, Sergio Costa (ACCV in Portugal), Tom(@ Boulder RC Field) and Steve Hislop.

I'll upload the video later... new camera!!!

Thank you Flying Giants

Congratulations, I knew you were going to like her.

By the way, I tried flying mine without the spinner but the plane didn't fly as well, so I went back to flying her with the spinner.
