Default Seagull Yak-54 (90), Edge 540 (60), Extra 260 (90)

Im looking into buying one of these models but I am unsure as to which one.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to which.

It will be my 3rd plane, Ive gone from a high wing to a low wing aerobatic trainer and have been working on basic IMAC figures (that is the direction I want to head in). I just want a plane that will be able to do whatever I grow in to in the next year or so.

Any help would be great.

*edit* lets throw in the Ultimate too, Ultimates are IMAC legal yes? (I am aware I dont need an IMAC legal plane for beginner level too :P But I want one )

The extra is probably going to do what you want better. The Ultimate looks the coolest and is a nice flying plane. They are all pretty good planes.

Here is some pics of my friends Seagull Edge 540 with an SPE 26cc engine..mods..engine box moved back 1" and added right offset, engine mount reinforced with carbon fiber plates both sides, graphtech gear (for better prop clearance), reengineered tank mount (moved back to allow ignition module to mount inside fuselage. Orig SPE ignition failed on test stand, replaced with C&H.

If you go with the Edge make sure and reinforce the wing tube inside the fuse. It has nothing inside the fuse to slide through and bends right in the middle. It is an easy fix that is well worth it.
