Hey everyone,
As you know, finding good propellers for the 3W-275 has been problematic latley. I had propllers made then they sold out. When I re-ordered I found out that my supplier had major medical issues. Long story short; I had to find a new supplier and I did. I have just received my first shipment of (3) blade propellers for the 275!!! The size is 34.5x13.5 and they look great. I will test them this weekend to make sure they perform as well as my last suppliers did. Also, tomorrow I will be receiving the (2) blade propellers as well (37x13). I know a lot of you have these on back-order and I will process these as quick as I can. Please email me if interested. Price is $225 for the (3) blade and $150 for the (2) blade. Bill Hempel |

Bill are the 2 blades the same design as the last props. Also are all of them pre drilled. I am running a 8" Carbon spinner and will have to line up the cut outs with the holes in the backplate. Also are the 3 blades pre drilled and painted white as well? Last question anyone know where I can get a new 8" spinner with a flat backplate?

Hi Chris,
Yes, all propellers are pre-painted, pre-drilled. They are the same size as my last order form the different vendor. The shape is slightly different and has been tested by me last year. The (3) blade props have n ot been flown at this size and I will be testing these this weekend. I flew a lager 36x14 version of the (3) blade and discoverd they were too big. I did testing on the 34.5 x13.5 and found that this size propeller is exactly what we need for performance and noise. Bill |

Ok, I have flown the (3) bladed prop today, SUCCESS! The new (3) blade prop is quiet and has great speed an pulling power. The tach said 4520 RPM's on the ground. Today was very hot and I can only imagine that the density altitude was neard 4500-5000 feet (just a guess). Temps were 102 degrees during flight testing. I am happy with the overall performce and sound levels of this new prop. This could difinatley be used for IMAC competitions to reduce your overall noice foot print and still have good performance to pull through all those unlimited manuevers!
The new (2) blade propellers were tested today as well. Agian, very good performance and pulling power. This propeller is very much like the privious vendor performance and sound levels. The "all White" paint sure makes a difference seeing it in the air, looks very cool. The (2) blade 37 x 13 was tached @ 4680 RPM's All props are in stock. Order quickly if interested as I will be making a trip to the sand box in 3 weeks! Bill Hempel |
