I'm fired up about TAS as well. Last year (my first year in R/C and IMAC) I had to soak up everything I could having to do with TAS on the net and couldn't get enough. I knew all the pilots (8) that got to go from our region and followed everything about them and all the rest of the goings on on FG. Thx for the great coverage guy's. Now this season is well under way and HOPEFULLY, I'll qualify and get an invite to go fly with the best in the world. I'm with you - CAN'T WAIT!!!

Sweet! I was there last year . . . Prizes ranged from DA 150s to Krill airplane kits to Realflight G3. Pretty much anything you could buy for our planes! Definitely was an awesome contest. Hopefully I will be back again this year!

Hey Evan!

I'm just hoping to make it points wise. Prizes are awesome, but like all IMAC events, it's about doing the best you can, and flying with friends.

I think the contest was better (for me) when it was only 4 days long. It is an awesome event, but there is alot of down time.

I really enjoyed being there as a spectator (Sat and Sun) last year.

I was a line boss last year and for me there was no "down time",We launched a plane every 3 minutes from @820am to @430pm.I was on the advanced/unlimited side of the line and it was AWSOME to see all the great fliers that came to compete!
I enjoyed every minute that I was there. The people that flew and those that helped to put on the show are some of the best I've ever encountered in this sport or others I enjoyed.
I look forward to being there this year!

This last year was fun besides the wind. For prizes I won a Krill Katana, for other prizes there are servos motors gas cans transmitters and equipment and way more!

There is no down time for anyone that runs the contest. As pilots we are all thankful that they are there. I don't think we could find better judging or volunteer workers anywhere else. I don't want to leave out Michael, Dave and Brian for setting up the contest either. Everything is always ready to go, includeing the wind.
