I just ordered mine a few days ago and am anxiously awaiting its arrival. I am new to electrics and I am excited about the idea of having a little plane that I can keep assembled in the car and fly at lunch. I ordered it from chief and got the hacker a30 motor and ESC and 2 flightpower packs (the 25c ones). I actually understand very little about the power system, but chief was confident it would work well and they said it is better than the PA system. From the pics it seems like a great plane.

They are GREAT little planes... fly like big foamies on high rates... but still track very nice lines......

Which Hacker? I'm sure that will be fine... I've used the Torque 900 motor and it hauls it around very well...
I'm assuming it is the Hacker 16M motor.....

should do quite well...

the plane goes together very easily and the carbon fusion is just darn good looking!!

Enjoy

Hi, this plane is awesome. Mine has the Thrust 30 motor, Quantum 40 esc, carbon spinner, apc-e 13-6.5 prop, flight power 2170mah battery, 3 hs-65HB & 1 hs-65MG on rudder. High alpha knife edge, hovers ,flat spins etc are really nice and controllable. Very stable and almost floats to land by itself. I added some white stripes of covering film to the underside of mine to help out in low light flying. Heres a short vid of mine.

I can't get the wing rock to go away on my pa 260 in harrier. I've noticed a slight tip stall in a tight loop only a couple of times. But the harrier is horrible for me. It's totally possible, as ozhover3 and many other people have proven it. I've read it could be a warped wing, but my wing seems to be straight ( yes I measured them with an incedence meter ) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I had one for a while, but ended up selling it to fund a bigger project. If you want to do 3D only, it's a great little plane, but if you want something for precision and 3D, I'd go with the Extreme Flight 48" Extra 300EXP.

The PA 260 flies like a foamy, but looks better. Here's a video of me flying mine in the snow: http://www.flyinggiants.com/gallery/...ser=18976&sl=d

Hope this helps! Have fun with what ever you get!

Its had the best wing area of any plane that size and the best wing area to wieght ratio of any plane that size. I bought one about 8 months ago but havn't finished it yet. One of my buddies has one with a rim fire motor and it looks amazing in 3D flight. Looks like it flies very light. His looks as stable as anything out there. He's an awesome pilot too and has been taken under MEL's wing so to speak. Practice makes perfect.

Hi, hope u got the harrier wing rock sorted. It's all about the angle of attack to find the sweet spot. Guessing info on other forums has helped u out. Have a wooden VOX 13x6.5 from PA now - even better throttle response & less vibes in tight knife edge spins etc. This plane just makes u happy flying 3D or precision.

I agree on the 13x6.5 much better prop. tried 13x5 apc still not better. Wing rock is still there but I think it's me now. I also talked with a PA rep and he suggested less ail. expo for a quicker response. There is another problem with my 260 it flies tail heavy no matter what the cg 90mm 100mm doesn't matter I am trying to get this resolved with PA I might need a new fuselage I don't know yet. I have about 2mm down trim for level flight at 1/2 throttle. full throttle it climes like a banshee from level flight w/o any imput????. Landing requires even more down trim just to get the plane to settle in. If i don't give it down trim I have to fly it down risking the plane on landing. If there is any wind at all forget about flyng, I mean landing, it's a handfull to say the least, but has to be done (I live in the desert always windy). I'm pretty good at landing anything else but this one. I think it's this plane in particular, others are probably all fine. All tests indicate a tail heavy plane even though I went to the extreme and balanced it at 90mm on my machine. I'm hoping PA will help me resolve this problem they've been very helpful so far.

Nothing really needs to be beefed up at all. The one thing you do need to watch for carefully is the incidence in your horz. stab. I didn't do this and now I'm dealing with nothing but headaches with PA. It's totally a design error. The stab fit good and snug like they say it should. I would use a piece of paper or multiple pieces of paper soaked together with ca for a shim if need be. This plane is so lite the littlest bit of change in design will effect it greatly. Mine is a pain to land because of the -1 degree of incidence in the stab. I've also read it'll cause some wing rock. Also check all surfaces for warp especially the ail. I had a lot of warps, but they're easy to remove following their instruction. Besides those few things it is a great airframe, extremely agile and responsive I really like it a lot.

Happy Flying,
Nick
