No bluntness intended, Dan and I had already had an exchange over the topic not that long ago.

Sarcasim and ribbing rarely come off in print.

That's funny there.

Rick, my wife is Canadian, and she lets me spend a ton of money on airplanes, so I guess it's like a sponsors sticker. My joke is when I wake up I can't decide if I want to be a socialist or capitalist.

What's up with you Yanks' stealing all our women?

So you are playing the wife happy = guy happy card. Understood.

I've always thought of the relationship to be more like the Chiwawa(Cdn) sitting between the front paws of the Doberman(US) yapping his fool head off. We are what we are because of what we are close to.

Things are well Curtis and you? Getting much stick time?

If your interested in competing in the Shootout but are further down on the list and think you dont have a shot at getting in please fill out the intent to register form and submit it. Looking at the some of the classes there are several pilots in the top ten that have not yet signed up so a guy down in the 15th spot may be able to get in but only if he registers. Deadline for online registration is August 5th.

I believe the cutoff for Tuscon points is passed now, correct me if I'm wrong. So, we should be getting a final tabulation of the standings, right?

I am already pretty sure I'm in so I'm not so anxious about the pilot announcement. If you are in the top 15 in the nation in your class you stand a pretty good chance of making it I have been told. I think I am like 4th or 5th in my class so I should be good to go.
But this is my first Shootout so I am a little nervous about the possibility of me sucking royally in it!

I am in intermediate and I think prizzy is in sportsman and if I remember correctly he finished, uh, "pretty well" at the NATS.
