Default Freestyle sim video contest

Hey everybody, I was thinking that we could probably get a couple of people to send in sim videos and we could have a huge video contest or something like that. I wonder if we could get Biff or MadMax to organize a forum for all of our videos. Would anyone be interested in doing this. It's just an idea I've been tossing around

does anyone know how to use fraps without paying the whole fee it just seems like a lot for something your not going to use a whole lot. I dont wanna be cheap but 40 bucks for a video capture program is outrageous. What about free programs any good ones out there?

There is free version of fraps here, http://www.download.com/Fraps/3640-2121_4-10441285.html , you get a watermark though.

the free fraps only records 30 sec. at a time, i u sed it for the rcu sim contest, just record your flight on your sim and then rec. 30 sec at a time and splice it together on movie maker, its hard to make perfect, but it worked for me.

A watermark is a way of protecting your image from copyright infringement or forgery. Most watermarks are almost invisible, like the one on dollar bills.
In this case it is a ''fraps'' logo stamped into your video. You could cover it with a flyinggaints' logo or something.
Pity about the thirty second limit that won't do for a freestyle routine
