My friend who loves filming, editing, and anything to do with cameras in general, was at the field the other day and filmed me practicing my freestyle for an upcoming local IMAC. He dubbed my song over it for better sound quality.
It's funny, I never seem to be able to do it this well at a contest. When the pressure builds, the thumbs shake. I have flown this freestyle in 3 contests this year and it is my first year really sticking to the same music and practicing it consistently. Also, I could use a lot more planning and practice, I often loose to much speed to do the snaps perfectly to the music. I bet this routine would present better and be easier with a 100cc. Or if Gernot just flew it. Hope you guys like it. http://www.flyinggiants.com/gallery/...46&ppuser=8844 |

Looks good! If I can, Ill make one suggestion. To me, it seems like you just fly back and forth and do point rolls and some snaps. Maybe just try to change some stuff so that you're not just flying back and forth. I know my freestyle style is a bit different than yours, but take a look at my freestyle (in my gallery on here) and see what you think about it.
Looks really great though! Better than most people that fly freestyle! Seth

Bodywerks: Thanks man, 3 blade is ok. I realy like it for smoothing out the IMAC flying, but it is fine for dorking around as well.
Seth: I just watched your freestyle with the bipe. You get it. Please help me. See, I can fly to music, but I have trouble getting the crowd to really react to the plane and music so well. I think I need more build up or quick changes in the music.. not sure, but yours was GREAT! I really don't like biplanes at all and I still thought your freestyle was totally professional and must score very well. So any input is welcome. Do you see places for changes to the music more or the moves more? |

I'm only keeping it this year, and just local IMACs. Like I said in my previous post, I want something a little different.
How is yours going? |

Hey Vinny, as you know I have seen it in person and it is very good. I am not one to give advise on this but I do think the music needs a little more energy, it really gets the crowd going. Other than that I think its great.
