I have heard that the 101 yak is pretty slow on a downline. But I heard that the Python is a beast on the DA85 also.

I'm thinking the same thing... I have a 96" AW extra on an 85 I may switch over to the new QQ to compete with until I get around to building a carden...

QQ 101" is great! I almost bought one. BUT the EF Yak 110" is the same weight, 9 more inches of wing. It presents HUGE. The EF 110" is more of a 3D plane though. All depending on what you want to do.

The 85 on stock exhaust is fine for the 33% range and the QQ-101 should be interesting. I have a DA85 with a KS1090 pipe and I'm swinging a Mej 28x10 the same as a 3W-106CS on stock exhaust (6500rpm) with no peakiness. It's mounted up to a 35% PP Extra (Same as the aeroworks for the most part) - find any plane in the 35% category up to 26lbs and this motor on a pipe is sweet! Just have to have a pipe tunnel...

Can't wait to see the QQ-101, built around the 85 - just sweet!

pfff

Well if you're building it, you could probably do another Carden like the 43% 300 or 260 and put an 85 on it. LOL Or maybe even that 80%er . . .
