Default Building question

While building my wings for a Bryon Taylor Spitfire, the problem I am having is that the basic part of the wing starts off being true and flat on the bottom. But as I do more work with building on the wing it starts to rise up from the tip towards the middle of the wing.

My question is how do I keep the wing straight and flat during the building process?
Thanks in advance for any help or tips with my adventure.

You probably don't want to. The designer/building apparently built "washout" into the wing. Washout helps maintain the wing's stabiltiy (i.e. tip stalls after the root) when low and slow as in landing.

I am familiar with the collection of planes and helicopters that you own....matter-of-fact I own a major interest in Bertha. I agree with the Dirt Doctor...things happen for a reason....the manufacturer designed the wing that way on purpose.. If you set other things in your life straight you may have better luck with the wing. Call me to discuss. Piranha aka Green Eyes

Listen to what Dirt Doctor is saying. You want some wash out in the wing tips or outboard panels or you will find out how hard the ground is when you slow down for a landing, tip stall and spiral in. The designers of the aircraft help us all to avoid the pain
Thx

Hey, I was wondering how it is going with your building adventure. Have you gotten your wing straightened out? Hope you are doing okay. Would sure like to hear from you .
