Default Decent 'cheap' pilots?

Anyone know where is a good place to buy a 33%ish pilot? I dont want to spend big bucks, but dont want a crappy plastic looking one either. Its to go in a 1/3 pitts special (civilian obviously)

Brett,

I feel your pain!!
I can't bring myself to blow 100 bucks on a pilot when I need that 100 bucks for batts and a reg...

Anyway - Aircraft International has foam painted pilot figures. I kinda have an affinity for blondes with big hoo haas so I have been getting the Jessica Rabbit with blonde hair. I have been telling my wife it looks like her heheheheh. I guess I'm into cheap blondes...

For a 33 - 40%er its about 40 -50 bucks. They look half way decent and ya don't need to rob a bank to get one-IMHO. Not to mention there are very lite! I think they are less than 2.0 ounces..

Hope this helps!!

Hanger9 just released some nice 35%-40% ones.
39.95 from most internet dealers.
Check out TroyBuilt http://troybuiltmodels.com/newsite/p...s/hangar9.html

Wayne,

Nice find!!

Good looking helmet heads with faces even!!

Wonder if they will make one blonde with big hoo haas!!!
Sorry - I have weakness for airplanes and blondes or is it blondes and airplanes??
Maybe it's just the hoo haas???

Thanks, but don't thank me.
Hanger9 filled a problem we have had for a while.
There is no reason that we need to pay 75-100 buck for a 35-40% pilot.
Or maybe I am just too cheap.

cheers,
wayne

Hey Beejay, How about 33% in unequaled realistic detail? Seven pieces in all - you paint the helmet and torso.
We will paint the face if you like $59.00 + s&h.

Hand made to your order by Fl. guys.

We are working on leather brain bag versions too BTW.
