Default My first 3dhobby shop plane/maiden voyage!

First of all I have never bought from 3dhobbyshop. I purchased a plane/motor combo 300 extra shp with a motofly 2815 1100kv for $190. I was hesitate to pay $175 for the small 47" plane because one of my flying buddies loves the new great planes 300 extra for $100. I get my plane in about 3 days, and open the box to find a fuse/canopy crush bad enough that I would not consider repair. I take a couple pictures send it via email to 3dhobbyshop, and their reply is "Brandon – We’ll ship you out a new fuse/hatch on Monday, along with a return shipping label so you can send the damaged one back at your convenience." By the way it was the shipper's fought. I my plane came in great packaging, triple boxed! I followed the instructions pretty close my only change was because my stab was not straight so I used some scrap MDF and my iron to make sure it was true, along with all my other surfaces. I used ball links around with HS-65HBs on everything except the rudder. I used a jr DS 368 and 2-56 ball link via pull-pull. Plane went together really quick except for the stab, I had to sand a good bit to make it line up with the wing. The plane covering job was excellent, and it balanced with a 3-cell 2100 li-po right on the money with the battery pretty close to center on the long battery tray! THIS IS THE AMAZING PART. MAIDEN FLIGHT!!! I took off, no trim, no trim, no trim not a single click, and absolutely no KNIFE EDGE coupling! Praise the Lord, He gave me very light winds on her maiden voyage

Cid, That sounds even better... "He's right, once you fly 3DHS, no going back brothers.... Off to The NATS, man i hope someone is bringing a 3DHS bird, if not this will be the longest separation from a 3DHS plane for me... hope i can stay together without my "Fix".
