Airplane photo contest
Hi eveyone. I think we all enjoyed the Flying Cirkus video contest. I'm proposing a photo contest. I know we all take pride in our airplanes and I have seen a lot of great looking planes. I think the guys here at the Flying Gaints should hold a photo contest. There should be differnt catagories (gas, glow, electric...) and say 3 picture limit with at least one photo of the plane in the air (we are here to fly planes not just look at static displays). The contest could run similar to the video contest. Please let me know what you think and let the powers here at the Giant know too.

I like this one, It was just about to go fly at Sunrise
The exposure was a bit off, but still looks cool. It was cold as heck out there and I wanted to get in the air. |

its funny cause i was just talking in another thread about a photo contest. a little different than what you might have been thinking but i think it is a great idea. althought alot of us right now in the midwest and east coast cant get out much to photograph our planes.

Adrian, the BEST pic I have seen of your Ulti is the one with smoke ON,
and in a high nose up attitude, going slooowwww..  How about a pic showin' some motivation.....

Man, that picture above! All that blessed carbon!!!! Why would anyone ever want to cover up the weave? So nice! I like how wood props work, but I love the look of carbon.

I like it, hopefully a sponsor will pop in and offer a prize. Easy to keep these things simple. Our new gallery is pretty bitchen, you can actually rate pics and videos now, along with post comments. Point being, this is easy to do. If you guys want it, I'll be more than happy to set it up.

40% cap hand launch, and 40% Giles at the 3DRC meet at Skelmersdale. Below, weston cougar and Funtana sunset:
This is the best quality it would let me upload, only 700 in hight
