Well i have already talked to Mark about getting another aeroworks yak in the new scheme, i love my 150cc so much, i a have only gotten about 15 flights on it right know but wow! i am running
x13 hitec 7955
DA 150 with K&S 1080 pipes
Power box royal
and JR 12x

what a set up, this thing flys like it is on rails right out of the box, i have flown this year in compition a total of five differnet planes starting with comp arf 260, x2 krill yaks, carden yak, QQ yak and none have come close to this plane, the only one i could say that came close to how good this plane flys is the Carden yak.

This new scheme will end up in my hanger befor the 2009 IMAC season starts

Cool, the graphics look nice and all, but they don't leave a lot of room for customization.

Really nice schemes.

Really nice schemes.
I do agree, not much room for your own personal touch. I plan on removing a couple of the graphics to make room for a few others.

I like Cardens pretty well, but unless you have flown an Aeroworks plane...its hard to make a comparison. The AW Yak flies as good as any Carden I have flown, regardless of the builder. That also goes for the AW 260. For the art of the build, Carden is tough to beat, but Aeroworks is one of the few ARFs other than Composite-Arf and Krill that flies as good as a Carden. Yes..we can start the Carden / Arf wars but it will not do any good. Everyone has the preference. We all have our flying styles..and for some the AW work best. I prefer Composite (comparf and Krill) planes...but AW makes a highly competitive arf. Other than composite planes, AW has the best 40% class plane in the industry...that is until Extreme Flight RC gets the 123" Extra out there. Then its going to be a tough choice.

What are you going to use for exhaust?
I'll be putting cans into mine. I know exactly what you mean about the electronics. How many servos will you run? 10 7955s and 2 8711s here. This will be my first plane running a SmartFly Eq6 - so far I like it!

I don't think you can beat AW for quality/fit - these things practically fall into place by themselves.

Absolutley! Quality is excellent. I will be running 10 7955's and a 5245MG on the throttle. That's it. I'm only going to run two on each aileron. I also plan on running a power expander. Not sure which one yet. Depends on the packs I finally decide on.

Wow Scott! You're moving up! The new Yak looks awesome.
Your servo count doesn't add up, unless you are going to make this strictly an IMAC bird, because it sounds like you are only going to run two 7955's on the rudder? Unless you are setting it up for 25-30 degrees of max throw, I can tell you that you're gonna need another rudder servo...
And don't you run Spektrum? Do away with the power expander and run a 9100 or 1222 and program the servos since they are Hitecs. Can't wait to see this thing all done - I'm still happy with my big QB 260, still putting together the 100cc 260, and still thinking about the new Ultimate.
