the person that built the carden is a good friend of mine in Alabama
he has built many cardens before and he biulds very nice stuff i love the way his carden flys but i am having better luck will my aw yak i am leaving for SE regionals today but when i get back i will post some pics of mine And for the guy that is talking about only running 10 7955's you should go ahead and go to 13 of them, i had to run heave gauge wire to all four servo's on the elev. due to getting blow back with just two ex. y off at the back, down side is i am using about 1,000 to 1,200 mah per flight, good thing i have about 9,000mah rx Bradley Petty |

The new schemes look great. A big improvement for sure. The old scheme would make an onion cry.

I was only going to run 2 on the rudder. Rocco and Mark both told me for IMAC, that should be fine. I can always throw another one in later if it is an issue. If I recall correctly, Mark is only running two 5955's on his Yak for a total of 10 on the surfaces. I won't be doing much, if any 3D with it. I'll be using my 75cc Extra for that. I was considering a PE on this one since so many people swear by them. I suppose I could go with the 9100 or 1222. Still trying to decide if I want to use A123's. I like the LiMN packs and considering running the servos at 7v. Can't do that with A123's. Open to suggestions though since this is my first 40%.Can't wait to see your 100cc 260 and your new Ultimate, hint hint. That thing looks bad ass in person! Shoot, I didn't even know you were building another one. |

BTW - You would still have to run regs if you used LiXX with the 9100 or 1222, correct?

Does anyone know of any easy way to lighten the airframe? Other than carbon fiber tubes and gear?

Mark.....you boys did a great job......this plane is by far my favorite ...........it really presents well and its steady as a rock. Got it to balance between 5 - 5 1/4 ....I havent put it on the scales yet......but I know its ever bit of 40lbs. Last time I flew it at our local field it drew a pretty good croud from around the park.and after throwing the sticks around a little bit I was suprised to here people clapping......its a real crowd pleaser.
As soon as I get some good videos and photo's I will send a review to yall. |
