BTW - You would still have to run regs if you used LiXX with the 9100 or 1222, correct?

Thanks. I had to do something to somewhat match the cowl since I needed a new one.

This plane started as the yellow/blue/white version.

Does anyone know of any easy way to lighten the airframe? Other than carbon fiber tubes and gear?

Mark.....you boys did a great job......this plane is by far my favorite ...........it really presents well and its steady as a rock. Got it to balance between 5 - 5 1/4 ....I havent put it on the scales yet......but I know its ever bit of 40lbs. Last time I flew it at our local field it drew a pretty good croud from around the park.and after throwing the sticks around a little bit I was suprised to here people clapping......its a real crowd pleaser.
As soon as I get some good videos and photo's I will send a review to yall.

Glad to hear - I'm hoping to maiden mine in the next couple of week. You had a DA-170 also right? How's the power feeling? Hope to fire mine up soon for the first time and hear the KS cans.
