Finally finished mine, she sure is purdy . I was baffled as to why I had to put 34 ounces of led in the nose along with all of my batteries to get it to balance as per the instructions (3.5 inches back from leading edge). After a couple of trim flights I pulled a total of 22 ounces out which left 12 ounces up there (see last pic). It does not balance anywhere near where the instructions said it should but it does fly fricken awsome now that I have it all figured out. I'm not sure if the DA-100L had anything to do with the balance issue or if there is extra wood in the tail as there is nowhere to mount servos in the tail as on earlier versions. All I know there is absolutly nothing back in the tail section and everything up forward. I'm scared to put it on the scales and I'm really not concerned because it flys so well. I think she's a keeper.

Far out !!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want to take some more weight out you might think about spacing the engine out about 2-3 spacers, you will also gain some RPM by doing that.

Maidened mine this past weekend also. Fantastic flying airplane!

Can't wait to get it really dialed-in and get more stick time. Going to be a great season!

I just bought this plan used and I do like the color scheme but it's hard to see in the air being blue and white. I know, hard to believe right. I was supprised too!
