Damn good camera trickery if it really is. Sure looks and sounded like the real thing. Landing was sorts weird - but who is to say? We know it has been done with RC a couple times!
What a ride! Great link Roger!

Here are a few things to look at . When the woman calls out where did the right wing go, no hysteria in her voice, and she said right away, about the right wing instead of the wing.

also, look at the wing carefully, it comes out too cleanly, and when he lends, look at the missing wing side, you can see two hole like wing tubes , not what you see in a full size aerobatic airplane,

Also the sound of the engine sounds more like a large radial then an opposed 4 cylinder.

and yes the landing boucne is more typical of a model airplane and not even a 40%.

I think its fake but and if it is fake , it is well done.

Did a bit of work on the laser today, actually did something I hate in any airplane and this is the to shape around the fin to stab, but it seems to be coming along...

Ever do some aspect of your build really nice - and then you see an improvement or too cool of a gadget to pass up cause you simply can't resist doing without it?
That for sure is how that second 80% comes about!

Check it out Roger. This is the 40% brain bag still in the skunk works but about to break out! 33% will be soon after.

Here is what I have been working on lately, I want to fit the electronics before I cover the airplane, so I have been working to fit everything and tidy, Tomorow hopefully I will show you something a bit novel on the Laser, stay tuned .

Also you will notice the rudder servo which is a HD with titanium gears, very fast and very strong, and a very good price to booth..

Today, with the electronics, you will see or not see the electronic invisible switch, which is magnetic from the inside. You put the magnet on top of the switch possition and the contacts close which removes power to the receiver and servos. Remove the magnet, and you have power. which is also failsafe. You can see in the pictures the tiny pilot light

I have incorporated two magnetic switches in the same module so one magnet will handle two switches.

Also since there are no aluminum servo arm for this new HD 9660 servo , I had to make my own for the rudder.
