Yea I have used gun blueing that you get from a hunting and fishing store on steel parts to turn them black but I have not ever seen anodizing paint, Wow I like the look of that where do you buy that paint,,,,,,,,,, I could offer McFuelers in other colors !

Today was another day of covering, and then open all the little holes for hinges, rigging wires etc.

The top part of the canopy , you will see is not covered yet, I ran out of covering but will need the same color for parts of the wings which will be done later this week or next week.

Hi Roger, Have followed every post on the build, very good work, heck excellent work. I have used aluminum bluing, in the past, also available at gun stores. Alydine, a two part solution for treating aluminum, comes out gold, is available from Aircraft Spruce. Have tried it, and it is used to prime aluminum for painting. Keep her going, looks great, heck, fantistic.

Well how about that ! I got so much on my Yak (and everything else) a couple of months ago I should get an invite to the Masters ! WITH 100 bonus points ! Really really looking forward to seeing how great it flys now.
