Default I got to fly the Dietrich Slick 540 Proto!!!!

Yep!! I got to be one of the very few who have go to fly it so far!

All I can say is ... WOW! It felt very close to my Carden!

Now, I'm not sure, as what mixing was in it, but it felt very neutral.

Since this is the #1 prototype I'm sure they will make some changes... but I'm sold on it now!!

Specs that I can recall:

3W 150 std mufflers, hitech 7955's (sweet!!!) 37lbs 4oz

I have some pics, but they are sucky phone ones, but they are pics.

Just to answer a few questions IT SNAPS GREAT !!! Very solid and stops when and where you want it to.

To follow up on the specs:

10 Hitec 7955's 3 on each wing, one on each stab, 2 on rudder
Pull-Pull cable
SWB servo arms
(2) 5200 fromeco's
(1) 2600 fromeco ignition
(2) MPI adjustable regulators
(1) fixed regulator
(3) JR heavy duty switches
Dubro 50oz. tank

Flying weight 37lbs. 4 oz. NO SPINNER !! lol

If anyone has any questions or wants to fly it let me know. I will let you know what shows I will be attending.

I spoke with Kevin Dietrich today and after hearing him talk about the Slick 540 I am seriously considering it. What I would like to know from the guys that flew it or at least got to look at it closely is...How did it look?, How did it fly and what would you compare it too? Details fellas details!

I got to fly the Slick 540 this weekend at Celina and it flies so nice! It is very stable and it snaps so well. The Slick is by far the best flying airplane i have flown. Scott let a lot of people get their hands on the sticks with this plane and i did not hear one bad thing. Nobody wanted to give the transmiter back. Kevin Nailed this one! Great job and design!
