I thought about it and have come up with a plan to get you motivated and working at the speed of light with your covering iron. I'M MOVING IN WITH YOU!!! When you finish it and get it flight ready. I will leave. I'm packing all my favorite speedos and leapord spotted bikini man panties as we speak.
You have no choice, it must be ready before Joe Nall!!!

Used DA 150 on stock mufflers here. It hauls my 260 around just fine so I don't see why the Slick will be any different. It weighs the same.

No you are not alone, I love it with the 150, well the 157 but that is not the 170. I have a larger majority of customers that will be flying it on the 150, it is just the crazed ones in there with the 170.

Is it November yet?
Cool im glad to hear others are using a 150. This is my first 40+% plane and im trying to save money everywhere I can so getting a good used 150 as opposed to a new 170 is going to save me around $700.00. I love the way my 35% flies so this should be better yet.

Yeah I posted about it being a standard drop. That is what Bill from Dietrich told me. Im sure he will chime in and give more detail about it.I dont know the mm of a "standard" header but he said its the same as an aeroworks or comp arf. I asked him about servos and he said two per wing, one on each elev. half and three on the rudder. I was glad to hear I could do that because I was thinking I would have to drop 1300 for servos but now only 900.

Bobby said my drops for the 157 and the 170 are the 3WHDR150D 4inch drops from AI or Cactus, I will have to check which is the equivalent with DA. 3W only has 2 drops, the short one for the Votec and the standard that every other airframe uses.
Scott, a few months now, long enough to know I cant break it, I also have the other 2 final prototypes here in the studio doing the manuals for them getting a bunch ready for the AMA show in January. I think the customers will like the others we have coming out, the final on the 100cc is real nice with the new cowl.

so two 8711's per wing?? Or three servos? I guess what I'm asking now is: is the ail going to stand up with 2 servos?

Without a problem, I am running 2 7955tg's per with no blow back and one per elevator half, I did change from 2 for the rudder to 3 though, it did make a difference on the servo life, spreading the force out to 3 instead of 2 servos. I had the second with all 5955tg's and they are still going strong with 2 per aileron, 1 per elevator half, and 3 on the rudder.
