The story behind the Gashes...
I had finished flying my foamy with an E-Flight 10 outrunner & 3s pack, landed, kneeled down over the propeller to disconnect the battery, knocked the transmitter throttle and the prop started a mining project on BOTH of my legs. Possibly the most painful experience ever. It's a whole lot deeper than it looks. And, I was wearing thick jeans. But could I be bothered going to hospital and wait a couple of hours? Nada... I got out the thick CA (Yellow) and filled up the gashes and squeezed them together. That hurt, but not as much as when a few seconds later I sprayed accelerator on them !!! I had to invent new swear words...

You are correct Mike, the gentleman on the left is Matt Botos, who flew in the XFC 2 weeks before. Also note, Matt's Synergy has no flybar. Matt had that thing screaming in our thin air. He was doing the fastest hurricanes I have ever seen (and I have witnessed both Alan Jr & Curtis doing them!)
My daughter was so excited to get her photo with Matt & Todd. I just kept telling her, "Don't drop the heli!"
