I've been looking at these but I want something a little bigger. I'd like something in the 4-5m range. Had a fly of a mates 6m DG1000. What a nice model to fly, was able to make good use of light lift.

i got a nice package at work today , so first impressions.. far i cant say much for the hinging.. one ail wont move down, and i had to do some smoothing to get the ele to move down.. hinges are tight.. but pre hinged,, and that wing rod... looked like a ~ untell i trued it enough to get in the wings and fuse.. but i did get in a bench fly! hahah the retact i have a hunch wont last long at my field.. the airbrakes sure do have play in them as said before. more to come once i get teh gear for it, should be a fast build once i get teh gear for it..
..

So the quaility ain't that good. I think I'm going to have a go at scratch building a older style scale glider. Hope to have something ready for the summer months over here.

well the thing to remember modern sailplanes done have big cowls to slow it down, this is as close to flying a bullet a human can get, im currently taken out the airbrake system so i can put washers behide the mount to get rid of some binding.
