Hello from MI
I just got back into rc after 30 years. I sold all my stuff way back then to go to college. From what I read in the forums I'm glad I did. I get to start with newer better stuff. I got a JR Sport SX600 UL radio kit. Bought a couple of chuck gliders and am having a blast. If you crash your out a whole 6.00 bucks. But they do hold up very well with some packing tape and gorilla glue.
