Default BBW planes finish strong at the IMAC Nats.

There were 3 Built By Walt planes flying in Unlimited at the 2008 IMAC Nationals.
All of them finished really well at the end of the contest.

Daniel Rathbun and Ryan Gonsoulin were flying Ryans's Dalton 300 ML Edition.
Ken McGuire was flying Larry Arseneau's Carden 260 and I was flying my new Godfrey 300.

Walt and Lew Sheffield came to spend the day with us in Muncie Wednesday and I could see that Walt was very pleased to see his planes doing well at the Nats.
Walt puts his soul into each one of the planes he builds.

All four us of finished in the top ten flying these beautiful planes.

Thanks Walt.
All of us really appreciate the effort you put into these planes for us!

This must have been the lew post you removed eh?

As I have begun my trek into IMAC and my quest for a 40% airplane, I can not believe how nice and encouraging everyone has been. Walt spent 30-45 minutes on the phone with me having never met me discussing the intricate details of building competition aircraft. He left the conversation with an open invitation to call him if I needed anything, ever. This sport is amazing, and I'm proud to be a part of it. Almost as proud as Wayne is of his BBW Godfrey. Walt is an asset to this hobby, I wish there was more of him and that he would never get burnt out on building!

Congratulations to all! I hope your proud Walt, you have some incredibly talented people flying your expertly crafted airplanes.

Great Job Boomer and Walt.

It's weird when you "goggle" BBW you get something totally wrong.

Got to meet Walt for the first time at the Nats. Definitely one heck of a guy, not to mention one heck of a builder!

Congrats Guy's on your finishes in the Nats, and Walt congrats on having 3 of your planes in the Nat's. The amount of time Walt puts into his builds is amazing. I am lucky enough to own a BBW Carden....Carden's sloogin is "We know how you want them to fly", Walt's takes this too a higher level by building these aircraft so precise.....There really is no comparison!!!

Wayne, did you run that 32X10 (I assume) all week? How'd it pull the plane in those winds? Do you think you were on the throttle more than if you ran, say a 29X12N 3-bl.?
By the way, congrats on your strong finish - no bad for a guy with a new plane and recovering heart!
