I was fortunate enough to get to see and talk with Brady Friday night... It just broke my heart to see him that way but Im going to be strong for him and pray evry night that he gets better. His family is very strong and are taking care of him and is there for him every step of the way. They need prayers for strength and courage too. Please dont forget them... There is so much more I want to do to help. But seeing you guys on here and the support and encouragement is very uplifting and occupys me and other friends of Brady's that gets to read this. Thank yall so much. I know Brady will soon get to read all this and will make him smile ear to ear.

Im sure Brady will have a tough and rocky road ahead but he will get through this. So many people do in similar circumstances. Those guys at the Methodist Hospital are really GOOD.... I have never seen Brady give up on anything. Hes amazing. And those of you that know him know what im talking about... But he really needs yalls prayers to help. Sometimes we get caught up in things and forget to hit those knees but God is ready and listening. He has a plan for all of us and maybe your plan is to ask him to help Brady and his family through this. Make sense? Ugh! Im no preacher but he needs us in this way and Im sorry if this seems like me rambling in my own views but I miss my friend and we want him back with us... Thanks all of yall and Godbless.....

Hey Scott,
I'm sorry I've been a stranger.Between Work, church and fishing I've been pretty busy. I sold the 40% and got a new ride, and a new hobby. I've been spending a lot of time at the lakes since I picked up the boat. Now a low, high speed pass takes on a entirely new meaning.

I still fly the foamy a little.
In fact, right after the visit with Brady I went and picked up the Eflight Enticement. Looks like this thing with Brady and Godspeed has got me wanting to fly a little more..

Nice ride and nice name for her..Jesus Freak...Coool.......
Last time I went fishing was with Brady at the River... He caught like a 25lb Drum...It was funny because he walked it all the way down the wall to the river just for the catch when everyone else was telling him to just cut the line..LOL...It was really fun to get to know Brady outside the realm of flying.. Im sure we will get to do it again...

Shaun, You coming out to the IMAC this weekend?

LOL.....I posted the wrong pic. I was playing around with graphics to see what would look good on the boat. .

Not sure if I'll be able to make it out this weekend.

Her's a couple new up dates from Monday and Tuesday.:

Day 9 7-21-08 10:30
Brady is still improving but not remembering much. They
had to teach him how to walk, brush his teeth, and hold a
spoon today. It is really scary that he remembers bits and
pieces of his life. He is only 19 years old so his life is
actually just beginning but it's horrible that he is learning
thing we learned as infants. Brady is determined and took a
lot less pain medicine than past days but he is still in critical
condition. He will stay in the critical unit at least another 10
days and then move to a rehab center as long as every
things goes right. He is a great kid and much stronger than
the rest of us.

Day 10 Improvement 7-22-08 9:15am

He is still confused but starting to remember things. He
told Mom and Dad this morning that he was in an
accident with Dan Powell but wanted to know what
actually happened. He has not asked for morphine
sense last night so his mind is starting to come back.
They taught him how to hold a fork and cut his meat this
morning. It's really odd but if you ask him how to do
something he can't tell you until someone shows him
and then he picks it right up. They will walk him today
but will not take him off the machines for a few more
days.

Day 10 7-22-08 6:50pm

Brady is improving by the hour. He is learning new stuff as
fast as they can teach it. He is still off the morphine and
getting his mind back. He is having a hard time learning
how to walk though. They are having to reteach him every
time they get him out of bed. He is very vocal which is
different. If you know Brady you know he doesn't talk much
but the new Brady is pretty funny and seems to be enjoying
it.

Day 11 Better Day 7-23-08 11:00pm

Brady was able to walk back and forth from the bathroom
many times by himself today. He is still having a lot of
physical problems other than that but things are getting
easier. His temperature is still up, he is starting to
remember his nurses names, and he had his first full
conversion about Texas Hold'em Poker with my Dad. I
was at the Mets game today so my parents told him they
had to watch the game so they could try to find me. He
was very excited and had to call me while I was at the
game. That was really important because it was the first
time he remembered something and got it all right. It was
also the first time he was able to talk on the phone. I was
really excited he sounded so normal and just like the little
brother he was just 11 days ago. The next updates will be
under the more updates page.

Brady is doing much better. He was himself Thursday night when Dan went to see him...This was refresing news because before he was not acting like himself. He was upset that he missed the 12th annual Texoma IMAC Challenge at his home club. The pilots and members all signed a card and his sister brought him to the hospital. This made his day. He has another big surprise coming. Rick Byrd (TOC/Tuscon invitational pilot)
dedicated his freestyle to Dan's daughter Bailey and Brady. He used there favorite music, Brown eyed girl and Creed, Arms wide open. This was profesionally videod and Dan will be taking the video to him tonight and playing on his laptop for him. Ill try and get a copy of the video posted on here. He still has a lot of recovery and Rehab in front of him but the outlook is looking good for him. They have had trouble with brady3d. com on the update link. Use this direct link for now for updates.

Scott

You have all followed this thread and http://www.Brady3d.com Brady is doing better and is starting to act more like his old self he still has a ways to go and will always have some limitations. He won't be able to work for over one year this accident has caused him and his family a heavy finantial burdon. They need all the help that this community can give. Chuck Holkholder has worked hard to put together an awsome set of prizes for a charity raffle on Bradys behalf. See attached flyer. you can buy via paypal or contact chuck http://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/m...ern_flyer.html he is "rc pattern flyer" on here
