I have one coming tomorrow ( I think ) for my Slick!
I have to double check the tracking number! I hope it fits. The Slicks canopy is WIDE as hell, but not that high. I may only have around 3mm clearence.

You can easily trim the body down some so that won't be an issue.
I had a 40% one and let Ken use it for his PAU 43% Edge. I don't have another 40% plane yet so it would've just sat in a box. The 35% version one though will be put to good use in one of my planes.

Not to Worry, just strike a line evenly, and use your dremel wheel to remove the material inorder to fit your desired height. We did it on our Dalton, per Mark, and Kenn's directions, and it is perfect!

The moving head is an airfield HOOT! We plan to have a laser cut kit for automating the 50%er when completed. (please don't ask.... )You know with the lighter construction, I would now just use a profile type narrow aileron servo directly underneath the head (mounted in torso of course) . The head is so light it shpould be perfect. You have to let us know ahead of time tho as the caps under the head and torso neck need to be shiiped intact. Maybe I can dig up my pics of this "direct connect" install. Here is the other install option: http://picasaweb.google.com/crawlink...lotHelmetHead#. |

Okay - we do get the question a few times, every few times.
33% vs. 40% ?? You decide which looks "best". ![]() (I'll try and find another match while at FX3D in Jacksonville Feb 27,28, March 1 - for a side by side w/o the tinted canopy) and CHEERS to a guy who's after ma own heart with custom painted pilot and adding servo action!! WHooo AHaaaa! Mike H. in Australia! ![]()

Both look pretty good. I'd just put that pic up on your website and tell the customers to decide for themselves.
My 40% should be here on Wednesday, looking forward to it!

I say if the plane will fit the bigger pilot go with that one. Pilots fill up scale planes.
I'm using the 33% one on my 30% PAU Su-26m. Here it is unpainted.

Check out this beautiful Krill Yak from Spain. This young man did a super job at building this airplane. Congratulations Jonathan!

I got my 40% visor down pilot today. The detail and paint work on these pilots is well worth the cost and makes a fine addition to any plane. It's almost a shame that my canopy is tinted, the pilot looks that good!

Thanks Donnie,
We sell almost as many overseas as we do here at home. The funny thing is that we sell less in Florida than any other state. I'm trying to have Jonathan's pilot ready by Monday. |

Jag, it's a 43% PAU Edge. The yellow used is Ultracote Pearl Yellow. I'll get more pics of it in the sunlight.

Here is a better picture. Fortunately the sunlight will allow quite a bit more light into the canopy than I thought so the pilot figure should be easily visible.
