It's Airshow 2008 time
What seemed like a long time away is now upon us, Airshow 2008, The Polo Field Fly-in Central New York's bigest Charity fundraiser is this coming weekend. How many FlyingGiants are coming to help us raise money for the Catskill Area Hospice? We're not that far from Ohio, Sleepy, and could use the company.

The field is ready to go, Campers are pulling in and the flying has begun. Looks like beautiful weather for the weekend and it should be a blast.

Well guys we had a hell of a good time. What with great weather and flying buddies from Florida to New Hampshire showing up we ended up with a 20% larger donation to Hospice than last year. Of course Snap put on his hovering show at almost 0 altitude and the spectators went wild. We got a long list of people that want to try the TAG program ( I think they want to fly like Elie ). Thanks to all those who helped make the show a success and for those that couldn't make it there's always Airshow 2009. BTW, Sleepy I'll see you at Elie's Huckfest. I'll try to sneak in before they recognise me.

I'm new to the Giants, and went to this show. An amazing display of flying. Absolutely wonderful. Kinda windy on Sat, but Sunday was a little better (except for the short periods of drizzle). Took my kids, we all loved it. Looking forward to next year!!
