I am completeing a 35% Carden Edge 540. The last component to be installed is canisters. I ordered the recomended rear exit cans from DA, 70mm drop flex headers / MTW TDH75 cans. I was very excited to get these last tuesday (UPS was also excited that I was there since they needed a signature and said it would have been a real hastle if I had been out). I ran down to the basement ripping open the box like crazed child on christmas morning only to find that this set of cans and heads were VERY wrong for my airframe. I needed more drop and a tunnel that was about 5-6 inches longer. BUMMER. I was like Santa pushing me down the slide with his boot saying "You'll shoot your eye out kid!!" Immediately I was on the phone to DA. They sent out 90mm drop headers, and MTW TDK75 (front exit) cans that I will have to sign for on this tuesday. My can tunnel seems to be pretty stock to me: top at the level of the bottom of the firewall, sides same as the box, and back defined my the former just aft of the wing tube.
First before I ask my Question I would like to say THANK YOU to DA for sending out the right cans / headers for my airframe so quickly!!! I sure they will work perfectly.
Now, For all you 35% Carden Edge 540 / DA-100 / MTW canister owners...
What is your header / canister setup? Header drop? Header length? Canisters?
PLEASE... IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE ABOVE MENTIONED COMPONENTS, PLEASE DO NOT REPLY.
Thanks for your input in advance!!
