Default Giant Scale Mag.?

Hey guys,

As we all know electric are the latest in the hobby, and they're taking over everything! The only magazine I subscribe to is FLY RC and I still love the magazine, but there's WAY to much electric content, and not enough gas or glow. I'm not into electrics, so I don't care to read about them, and it wouldn't even be a big deal if 90% of the mag wasn't electric

Am I the only one who feels this way? I'm not anti-electric or anything, just not my cup of tea. Are there any other magazines out there that are more into the gas/glow thing?

Thanks

Gotta remember there slick that 90%+ of the rc public isn't into HUGE $5000 gassers.
Thats why the magazines focus on the electric stuff, thats where the market is.
Magazines have to sell lots of issues to stay in print, and right now more guys are looking for info on out runner motors than DA 150's!

And if thats what they have to do to stay in business i say so be it. i would hate to see "One chapter" about planes in the back of a train magazine!!

I think Fly RC has had one or two good gasser reviews in the past few months, as well as Model Airplane news... in fact I have seen quite a few big gassers reviewed in the past few months!

I would love to see a magazine that has lots of info and reviews on Giantscale, and then covers foamys and glow as well and heck maybe even helis....
Or better yet, what about instead of a magazine that you pay for, what about a free one,
But wait, a magazine only comes out once a month, soooooo what about a web site!!
YEA that would be sweet, a web site can update daily, and host videos, and live events !! And you could have instant access to past reviews, and all kinds of info... MAN
WOULDN"T IT BE GREAT IF A WEB SITE LIKE THAT EXISTED!?!?!

OH WAIT A MINUTE!! I just found one, seems to be SWEET!

Check it out.... it might be what your looking for!!

Wow What a great online source for info on all types of RC!!!! Thanks for the link Sleepy! haha

Yeah I understand about companies having to stay in business, it would just be nice to see some more content on larger airplanes. Maybe one of these days.
